The Absolute Truth About
 Weight-Management

Building Healthy Houses:                                                

Harry Standel , president of Sevar Corporation , a New England construction firm , has set out to establish the first housing development composed exclusively of Health Houses , the term used by the American Lung Association .(ALA)                                                                                  

Indoor air  is now typically two to five times more polluted than outdoor air,estimates the Enviromental Protection Agency.                                   

The building criteria followed by Standel and other builders of the Health Houses focus on moisture, ventilation , and air filtration.To reduce pollen and dust buildup, houses are constructed  with hard surface floors instead of wall to wall carpeting.To reduce condensation and the resulting mold and mildew ducts are placed within the insulated portion of the house rather than in the basement or attic.And a continuous flow of fresh air keeps the house well ventilated.
